Photoblog: Festival Funtimes

Hello everyone!

These past few weeks have been pretty life changing. I've been adjusting to being in a strange city, being without my friends and family and living a college lifestyle all at once. When I wrote my last blog I was definitely not adjusted yet and pretty upset. Now however, things are really looking up! I've become quite good friends with my roommate Sarah and I've made a tons friends and met lots of lovely people on and around campus. I'll be the first to admit that trying to juggle a social life, schoolwork and a decent sleeping schedule is extremely hard, but it's worth it!

Even though I am a LOT happier now than I was a few weeks ago, I still have a hole in my heart and miss my friends and family like crazy. Which is totally normal, but it still hurts. Today I was looking through some pictures on my camera I've taken over the summer, and I sat staring at my screen smiling like an idiot for about half an hour. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but besides that, it's a perfect way to relive good memories, revive good feelings, and it's a total cheer-you-up. I've decided that some of these pictures make me so happy I need to share them with you guys! So from now on, every once in a while I'll upload photoblogs: posts that contain some of my favorite photos of my favorite moments. I hope you enjoy these, but don't fret, I'll do my very best to upload some more beauty/lifestyle posts in the very near future!

My first photoblog will contain some of my favorite pictures I took on August 10, 2013, when I went to a festival in Amsterdam to pre-celebrate my eighteenth birthday with Joyce.  Here you go!

My festival look: disco pants (American Apparel), a pink top tied up with an elastic (H&M), a gray sweater (H&M), and I finished the look with some silver bracelets (Pandora), rings (H&M), head jewels (Claire's), an owl necklace (Bought online) and a big pair of sunglasses (probably H&M as well)

Joyce got a bit excited

Everyone loves a good food pic, right?

Enjoying the festival food

These are the famous port-a-potties I dropped my iPhone in. I cried. A lot.

Selfies are a part of life

Fave festival fashion look: boho chique!

It was so nice and sunny!

This princess decided to join the fun! She was adorable
More selfies! Yay!

The best way to enjoy the music is when you're so far away you can't actually see the artist but at least you can lie down

And we conclude with more food. We're hungry teenagers okay?
