Hello Everyone!

Even though I am one of the biggest wimps of all time, Halloween is definitely one of my favorite days of the year. Not because I like watching masked men hack up half naked girls in the most gory way you can imagine- but because I LOVE dressing up. Ever since I was a little girl I've adored wearing costumes and pretending to be someone else. I mean, why would I want to be plain old me when I could be princess Ariel? Or a Vampire? Or- well, I could be anything under the sun, really (as long as my local toy store provided the costume, obviously, so, my main options were, well, princesses and vampires). However, Halloween isn't really a thing in the Netherlands, so even though I religiously put on my long red vampire dress, fangs and cape each October 31st, I never got to go trick-or-treating or go to some crazy Halloween party, or even win a best costume contest. Sad, right?

But then I moved to America, where they actually do Halloween! And then I couldn't really find a great outfit so I went for something super cliché, and also I didn't really go to an actual Halloween party so I ended up not really celebrating Halloween again...

However, this year was different. Seeing as I'm old enough to go out in London I didn't need to find a specific party to go to, I could just go out into town and go to whichever club looked the most fun. This prospect made me super exited, and I realized I had to step up my costume game this year if I wanted to have any fun at all. Consequently, I really started getting into special effects makeup and spent ages on Youtube looking at the best tutorials, going to stores to buy materials and mentally practicing how I was going to make my face look absolutely awesome.

Luckily enough, it worked.  Introducing: Princess Mayhem. Queen of the Dead. Etcetera, etcetera.

I used plasticine, black gel eyeliner, purple eyeshadow and wound filling paste to create the scar, Sleek's V2 Ultra Matte eyeshadow palette for the black eye, and a white contact to make it look extra creepy.

What do you guys think? What did you dress up as this Halloween? Let me know!

Hugs and Kisses!
