Youtubers That Make My Day

8:34:00 PM

Hello Everybody!

As you probably all know, I don't have a very exciting social life and I spend most of my time in my pajamas and on my computer. I have no problem with this at all. Lately I have become quite obsessed with Youtubers. Of course I've known about Youtube for a few years, but I used to only use it to listen to music or watch behind the scenes videos of One Direction when they were still on X-factor (didn't we all?). The first vloggers I ever watched were Jenna Marbles and Kingsley, who I think are pretty much the King and Queen of Youtube. However, a few months back my friend Emma introduced me to a channel called 'Jacksgap', and that's when the trouble started. As every other teenage girl with an Internet connection I immediately fell in love with those gorgeous British twins (Jack especially) and I willingly dove into the world of British youtubers. Since then I have become quite the Youtuber expert, and I spend all my free time either watching videos I haven't seen yet, re-watching videos for the billionth time or desperately refreshing my feed in hope of a new video. I lead a very exciting life. Anyhow, I thought it would be nice to share some of my favorite Youtubers of all time with you. I was going to do a 'top 10' but then I realized I can't possibly choose who I like better so it's just going to be a list, in no particular order. Enjoy!

1. Jacksgap

Jacksgap is  the reason I got into Youtubers in the first place. Not only are the twin owners of this channel British and immensely gorgeous, they're also really funny and good quality film makers. The channel started off with (then) 17 year old Jack Harries, who was taking a gap year between High School and University and made a channel to keep his friends and family updated on his adventures. However, after an appearance from his twin brother Finn, the channel blew up and the boys became quite well known all around the globe. With over a million (!) subscribers today, their channel consists of Vlogs, Twin mail videos, collaborations, travel videos and loads of other fun stuff. I'm not going to lie: my huge attraction to Jack may be the reason I started watching all his videos, but it only took me five minutes (of my life that I won't get back) to realize that this boy was not only incredibly cute, but that he also made some amazing videos. His theme song may say 'Jacksgap Jacksgap five minutes of your life that you won't get back' but trust me, as soon as you start watching their videos you'll be willingly donating hours of your time to these hilarious heartthrobs.

2. Official Sam Pepper
The Second Youtuber on our list is another British boy named Sam Pepper. Sam made his debut in big brother, but is mostly know for his hilarious Youtube videos. He started off with asking random questions to people on the street ('What's your worst pick-up line?' 'What would you do if you were invisible for one day?') and putting the best responses in a video, but not long after that he started making prank videos and 'Things we all do' type vlogs (and we're all really glad he did). I absolutely love Sam's videos because he cracks me up and he has the best attitude. Sam Pepper doesn't give a damn about what anyone thinks and is a prime example of how to live your life to the fullest. He also has the best accent and he seems like a really nice guy which is a total plus. If you're ever feeling down or you just want to have a laugh, go watch some Sam: he's guaranteed to have you rolling on the ground laughing in no time!

3. DiCasp

Though you may not have guessed it from the thumbnail, Dicasp is a not a woman: he is Caspar Lee, a South African teenager who calls his fans sluts and rings up hotels asking to help him find his sisters virginity. Classic. Caspar started off making videos in his bedroom in sunny South Africa like many others, but his humor and fake seriousness is what made him stand out. Caspar can tell the most random stories and say the weirdest things without even cracking a smile, yet he doesn't come off as rude or grumpy. After becoming increasingly popular and making friends with loads of other British Youtubers, Casper moved to London and moved into a bachelor pad with Alfie Deyes of Pointlessblog. I'm really not sure who to be more jealous of.

4. Troye Sivan
Troye Sivan is one of my latest 'Youtube discoveries'. After seeing lots of gifs of him on Tumblr I decided to finally give in to the rage. This was a very good decision. Troye Sivan is a singer/actor who spends 90% of his time on the internet eating junk food. Basically, he is a better looking and more successful version of all of us. With piercing blue eyes, a voice that will kill you (I'm not joking) and a great dry sense of humor, Troye has easily won over my heart, as well as many others'. Also, if you decide to check out his videos and end up enjoying them (which I will guarantee you will), don't forget to follow him on tumblr and twitter- his posts always make my day.

5. Marcus Butler TV

Marcus Butler (aka Marcie but but) is another Brititsh Youtuber with a crazy intro ('HeeeelloOoOO), a female persona named Margaret and a huge bum which he calls his 'Nicki Minaj'. That pretty much sums him up. Marcus makes really funny and enjoyable videos where he talks about Shit -insert a type of person- Do. These videos usually end up being little ranty, but we don't mind because he makes little sketches and talks in funny voices- so it's all good.

6. Pointlessblog

This is Alfie (British, obviously), possibly one of the most adorable people on the internet. Alfie makes all kinds of videos, from vlogs to mail videos and even (hilarious) challenges. With his cute smile, permanent happiness and standard 'What's up guys, how are you doing?' I just want to grab his face and smush it together saying 'you're such a cute wittle baby, oh yes you are, yes you are!' -which is odd because he is, in fact, older than me. Alfie is sure to cheer you up and make you see the positive side of things. The only thing cuter than Alfie is Zalfie (Zoe and Alfie) who I -regardless of what Zoe and Alfie say- will ship until the day I die.

7. Zoella

The first ever beauty vlogger I watched was Zoe, aka Zoella, aka 50% of Zalfie. Zoe is by far one of the most gorgeous women on Youtube, either with perfectly applied makeup or without.  Zoe makes a lot of haul and skin/hair care routines, which I really enjoy even though they always make me want to go out and buy tons of stuff I don't need. Zoe also has an amazing blog which I've mentioned before, and she is actually the reason I ombréd my hair. She also has a great second channel filled with fun daily vlogs. Last but not least, she has some really funny collab videos with other Youtubers where she does crazy (blindfold) makeup challenges, mainly on boys. So if you ever want to see your favorite British/ Southafrican Youtube boy covered in thick layers of makeup, Zoella's channel is the place to be.

8. Sprinkle of Glitter

Next on the list is Louise of Sprinkle of Glitter. You've already seen lots of her on my previous blogpost, but apart from being my blogspiration, she also makes some great Youtube videos. Like Zoe, Louise does lots of Haul and product videos, with a main focus on beauty articles. I absolutely adore Louise because she is the happiest, most upbeat person I've ever seen. Despite struggles she's had in the past she always has a very positive attitude and really inspires me to have a happier outlook on life. Just like Zoe, Louise is absolutely beautiful, has perfect makeup looks and -and this is my absolute favorite part about her- has the most adorable daughter named Darcy and nicknamed Baby Glitter. I love watching Louise's long beauty videos, but I most enjoy her daily vlogs because she is the craziest and most hilarious person ever. Louise and Zoe are actually best friends and both appear in most of the others' vlogs, and watching them together always makes me wish I was friends with them. Which will happen sooner or later. Watch me.

9. Jenna Marbles
Like I said in the intro, Jenna Marbles is basically the Queen of Youtube. Unless you have been living under a rock for the past three years you'll know who she is, and you'll probably have seen her 'How to trick people into thinking you're good looking' video. Jenna is an internet icon, who swears, drinks, and puts her dogs in her bra. She makes sketchy-type or ranty vlogs that are guaranteed to have you nearly pee your pants of laughter. Tip: don't watch Jenna's video's in the school library when you're waiting for your next class, because you will forget there are people around you who can't hear the video, and you will end up laughing out loud and being completely embarrassed.

10. Thatcher Joe
Joe is actually Zoe's sister, who was inspired by his sister to start making videos. However, unlike Zoe, he does not make beauty videos. In fact, he doesn't know the difference between blusher and contour and calls mascara mascarey (go watch Zoella's 'My brother does my makeup' 1 and 2, you won't regret it). Like all of the Youtubers I've mentioned before, Joe is extremely funny and has an incredible sense of dry humour. His Lyrical Phone Prank video had me rolling on the floor laughing and he is amazing at accents. My favorite thing about Joe is that at the end of every videos he adds a few outtakes, which show that he is a complete idiot. I love him. Oh, and for all you ladies out there: he's pretty good looking ;)

11. Fun For Louis
Last but not least, there's Louis. Louis' main channel is actually Food For Louis, but I don't watch that because he eats live animals and yucky things and my stomach is not prepared for that. I prefer his Fun For Louis channel, where he posts daily vlogs (he is the only Youtuber I know who posts vlogs every day!) about his awesome life full of traveling, friends and tons of normal food. The reason I'm kind of freaking out about him today is because as I am typing this Louis Cole of fun for Louis is in the same country as me. I repeat. He is in The Netherlands. Right. Now. As you can imagine, I've been flooding his twitter with tweets begging him to do a little Dutch meet up in Amsterdam, because I'd die if he'd been in the same country as me for a week and leave without giving me a big fat hug! (I've had that happen to me before, when Jack was in Amsterdam and he didn't tell anyone, and my heart hurt for weeks. Nót recommended.)

So those were my favorite Youtubers! I love discovering new Youtubers, so if you know any good people or make videos yourself, let me know in the comments below! I'm currently a week (!) away from my final exams so as you can imagine I have locked myself in my house and I've been studying for the past week and will continue to for the next. I promise -cross my heart and hope to die- that after I'm done with my exams I'll flood you with tons of amazing blogposts!

Hugs and Kisses!
